Born in Caringbah, Sydney Shelby relocated to Cairns when she was 9 years old and has since made this beautiful town her home for life. Starting school at Holy Cross Primary and then moving across the road to Smithfield State High Shelby has seen the transformation of the northern beaches first-hand. When she started Smithfield state high school there were no estates down the road just one lonely old house and a ton of sugar cane!

Shelby left school to peruse a career in Hospitality. Starting as an apprentice chef and then slowly working her way up from there, Shelby has worked for some of the most loved restaurants we all know as locals. She has experience in every aspect of hospitality from dishwashing to managing a large-scale restaurant, she knows the ins and outs of hospitality eventually finishing with Dundee’s On The Waterfront as her last venture. A chance arose for her to move into sales at Harvey Norman which she quickly took working in the bedding department. Her love for customer service helped her excel in this position quite rapidly and soon was looking for another avenue to help excel her career in sales. This is where she applied for an add on seek putting in her all to the cover letter and resume hoping for a reply. Well we all know how that turned out!

Shelby loves spending her time doing her weekly salsa/ballroom dance classes, tending to her plants, spending time with her friends and watching the footy. Shelby is an avid Sharkies supporter and loves to cheer on her hometown team. Up Up!
